Senior Maintenance Technician

MGG Properties is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform the general work required in the repair and maintenance of the Company’s properties. The position requires a broad range of skills including general repairs, painting, electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with the Company’s property management department to ensure that properties are up to the Company’s standards
• Complete interior and exterior repairs to the Company’s standards as well as keeping management informed of potential repairs including repairing drywall and roofing, painting, electrical, plumbing and other basic building repairs
• Performs and coordinates utilities start up and shutdown
• Service and inspect Company equipment
• Liaise and work with external Contractors
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by Supervisors

Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
• Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation
